Birthday, Part 2

At Grandma and Grandpa's house, Kyrie and Will celebrated their 9th and 7th birthdays, respectively. 

A very clever way to give money - in a Kleenex box.  Aunt Carrie told Kyrie not to "blow it all in one place."  How fun!

And Grandma and Grandpa gave Kyrie a new pair of boots and some money for camp.  Yay!

Lego Lovers

While there are so many wonderful things about having a baby in the house, one of the drawbacks is two naptimes to have to be quiet during.  But...the best part about it being a weekend is that...there is a Daddy home to play with us, too!

 

 

 

This shot was mostly because I was trying to set up the foreground and background with my new awesome cool camera, but Declan didn't really cooperate.  So, this look was the best we got.  I like Daddy and Lari blurred in the background, though!

Birthday Treat

Kyrie requested ice cream cone cupcakes for her birthday treat to take to school - which had to happen on Thursday, March 28th this year, because of having Good Friday off and then Spring Break the entire following week.  Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of Kyrie with her treats, but her the treats are, nonetheless.

 

Bunny Boys

The Easter Bunny came to preschool today. Declan was so adorable as he hopped into the car, talking non-stop about the fur they found, and how the bunny hid his bag! So exciting. What was funny to me is that when we got home and I got his coat off, I discovered that he had a bunny tail...and bunny ears in his bag. He hopped around and let me take some photos of my boy bunny (and Hugo decided he needed some attention as well).

 

 

 

Jack O' Lantern

Lariska has lost her fifth tooth!  As a result, she looks a tad bit like...a Jack O' Lantern...but, a really, really cute Jack O' Lantern, if I do say so myself!

Beautiful Things

I was inspired to make this video as we approached the first birthday of our last child.  It has taken me awhile to get around to uploading it, but I wanted to put it online as it is basically a kind of history of the families of our children.

Bath Time

New Look

Thank you Matt and Mike for giving our family room a new and improved look.  After re-doing our kitchen almost two years ago, the brass fireplace just did not seem to fit in any more.  I am thrilled to say "Goodbye" to that thing and welcome the new, possibly plainer, but somehow prettier fireplace insert.
