Just Another Crazy Day...

...Except on this crazy day two years ago, my family became complete.  Everyone was finally present and accounted for.  Hugo was here!

Hugo is the answer to the question, "Can you be sassy AND sweet?"  Absolutely, yes.  "Can you be adorable AND a monster."  Unequivocally.  "Can you be a trial while also being just about the best thing ever?"  Yes. Yes.  Yes.

AND, since it had to happen eventually in a family as large as ours, Hugo was born on the 32nd anniversary of the birth of my brother, Casey, "Uncle Tio".  Happy birthday, Case!  Thank you for sharing it with your adoring nephew.

Wow, has he changed in a year!  We still haven't had him in for his first haircut, though it needs to happen, but look how his hair has grown!  And, those cheeks!  Not so chubby any more.  And, personally, as the Mommy of this terror, I am enamored with his beautiful eyes.

So, dear Hugo, even if I do have to use up 50% of my daily allotment of energy on changing one of your diapers, I will always think it was worth it.  "I will love you forever, I will like you for always, as long as I am living, my baby you will be."



P.S. Our kids are crazy fans of "Good Luck, Charlie", the Disney TV show.  They think of Hugo as their Charlie and try to get him to do some of the things the siblings get Charlie to do on the show.  So...in honor of this, here is a video photo montage I slapped together this morning:
